About Us
Pursue your vision – giving up is not an option
Unfortunately, too few people still think about the incredible waste of resources. Resources that are important not only for the earth, but above all for us. We should not forget that what is currently happening on this planet is not only damaging the earth in the long term. It is damaging us above all.
We want to make a contribution now. Our vision is that disposable wooden frames will no longer be part of everyday life. The one-time use of this important raw material, which should be used for useful things, must be prevented.
Metal racks should be replaced with Eloorac transport racks wherever possible. Enormous efforts are currently being made to bring the empty, bulky and heavy racks back with a truck. These trucks often drive several hundred kilometers to get to the collection point. The CO² balance here is truly catastrophic, just like with disposable wooden racks.

The Founder's Story

Carsten Böttcher – managing partner of Eloorac GmbH & Co.KG
Eloorac GmbH & Co.KG is the result of a collection of many different ventures that I have completed in my now more than 35-year professional career.
Through my training as a woodworking mechanic and the subsequent additional training as a carpenter, I was able to gain a good insight into the industry as well as the craft. I did the second training because the craft seemed very important to me. Even then, I ran a small restoration workshop for historical furniture after work.
In general, I was always curious when it came to things that presented challenges. Learning something new and, above all, implementing it was always a high priority for me. For this reason, I took further training courses at evening schools to become a CNC machine programmer and a CAD draftsman. These training courses were not as common back then as they are today, so they were something special.
Shortly after completing my carpentry training, I was able to attend the master craftsman school in Münster. After passing the examination at the Chamber of Crafts, I received my master craftsman certificate.
Then it started. As a department head at the Grauthoff door group in Rietberg Mastholte, my area of responsibility grew over time. First, special construction, then later, technical planning for the entire group. The training I received at night school helped me here. Finally, I was also involved in exhibition construction for the Grauthoff door group's trade fair appearances.
6 years later, the time had come for me to find my own way. I became self-employed. I continued to work as a freelancer for Grauthoff. In addition, I increasingly took on object and shop construction as well as exhibition stand construction for other companies and architects. With technical product visualizations and computer-animated assembly videos, I was able to demonstrate further unique selling points. There were not many companies that could offer this type of work.
I implemented the shopfitting not only nationally, but also internationally. The assembly and production of the projects took place throughout Europe, Hong Kong, China and India. After years, however, the desire to finally be a little closer to friends and family again arose.
Change was only possible if I did something new. Something that could only be done from home.
I then started selling large-format products. Of course, these also had to be transported. That was the beginning of the Eloorac transport systems.
Initial attempts to create a system that was easy to set up and easy to take back failed miserably. The requirements were simply too high. However, constant new attempts made the frames more stable and better. In the end, I managed to design the system in such a way that local companies said, "Oh, we could use a transport frame like that too."
OK, so I just started selling and developing transport systems.
Other products such as the Eloorwheels, the "Rollen an Palette" system, the "Beamer" pallet lifter and a few other products were added to the Eloorac frames. All Eloorac products have so far been able to help many companies, not only as individual equipment, but especially in combination with one another. This will continue.
Eloorac systems are now in use worldwide and the number is increasing, much more. There is no stopping something that is useful.
